Sunday selection with DSJ, Vistalite and L^L

Triple bonus selection this Sunday from DSJ, Vistalite and L^L. None of them very aggressive but ranging from techno, though experimental and ending in ambient.

DSJ (Jelle Deschepper) from Belgium is the most forward of the trio. The track is Ka Mahulia, which, I think, is goodnight in Hawaiian. A gentle piece of techno, that offers more lullaby of Detroit than hammer of the gods. Intricate, it picks its way across the night sky to wards the rosy fingered dawn. Track removed by artist. No idea why*

L^L’s The Push and the Pull of it is more obviously downbeat or downtempo. But it manages an experimental edge that keeps the track slightly off balance throughout.

Finally, Vistalite. A fifteen minute ambient brainwash. Dark White is in no hurry to start. And no hurry to let go and end. It comes on quietly and gradually takes hold of your consciousness. Once in its grip, it holds with a welcome softness. A total mood piece. You simply can’t rush this one.

artist has chosen to make it private again.
