Techno three ways from Tony Old Boy, Aruda and Jake Kaiser

Three doses of techno from Tony Old Boy, Aruda and Jake Kaiser. All adopting a slightly different approach to their techno tuneage.

Tony Old Boy is first up. I’ve no idea his age but Park West does have a whiff of the 90s about it. But a welcome one. Takes some of the Kraftwerk influenced German techno sounds out for a spin. All a bit Ein Zwei Drei in places but sometimes you know you need that.

Adura by Aruda gets off to a slow start but bear with it. By 1.30 is starts to hit its stride and take you off into darker synth-led places. A properly intelligent and captivating tune.

Finally, Jake Kaiser with Ripple. This is the perkiest of the three. SF-based Kaiser brings a lovely sunny sound that combines wonderfully well with the dark bass to give a hook filled groove fest.
