J-Lektro – 1988

90s may be all the rage at the moment but J-Lektro wants to go further back. To 1988 and a more electro primitive house sound. This is a classic tune that wouldn’t have sounded out of date then but remains totally fresh today. Wheezy electronics, piping synths and extended harmonies take this into a rave vein that’s nothing so much as something that might have appeared on 808 State’s classic 1989 EP/album Quadrastate.
