A rather delightful downtempo composite of You’ve Been Down To Tooting from Lemon Melon and As The Petals Fall from Paper Rain.

Lemon Melon first. You’ve Been Down To Tooting is a lovely electronic piece of English whimsy. All very Lemon Jelly in approach but nonetheless a beautifully composed homage to a rather unlovely part of South London, best known to me as the location of the hospital in which my aunt died. That doesn’t stop this being a properly delightful track.

The US’ Paper Rain (Jonah Patterson) offers the string-led pleasures of As The Petals Fall. This provides a perfect companion with its delicate natural beauty and wistful air. The rippling strings really evoke the flutter of falling blossom.
