Saturday selection from Madou, Camp North and Mylamine #deephouse #electronic #chill

Today’s Saturday selection comes from Madou, Camp North and Mylamine. The mood is kind chilled and just a touch reflective.

Belgium’s Madou offers Samurai. A string driven piece of electronica but with a deep underlying bass that invisibly propels the track along. There’s nothing terribly Eastern here but it is a properly epic track with a hauting element coming from that wailing wordless vocal.

Next, a welcome return from Camp North. On After You Leave there’s a delightfully delicious house piano line that provides a welcome uplift against some slightly sad strings and bass. The track plays with you emotions by offering periodic pauses where all that it left is a taut line before allowing the piano back in.

Finally, here’s Mylamine with Epitaph. A rather doleful title not entirely borne out by the track. This is chilled electronica. But it’s chilling in the town as opposed to the beach. It’s no Balearic laid back tune, rather a urban stroll by the canal.
