A transatlantic pairing from Traveler CS and Hokum Tribe. The vibes are chilled.

Traveler CS first as the US offering with LUX I. This is very much on a chilled ambient tip. A gentle sense of floating and the soft washing of waves of sound. A little like being suspended in a floatation tank. Described by Traveler CS as “designed to recall the feeling of being washed in light and sound.” With this track, everything just stops. Gorgeous.

From this side of the pond Hokum Tribe offer a North Londoner’s perspective on South London with the place-specific Cold Down South (probably). The tune is more techno ambient with some beats and bashes careering around in an otherwise chilled surround. An invigoratingly exciting swirl of sounds. The track is taken from the EP Dystopian Anaphora.
