Eddie A is from Switzerland and the track is Parallel West. Taken from the album Quiet Understanding it comes after a year in California. This gives this delightful track some West Coast laidbackness and some hip hop crunch. There’s a lovely contemplative air to it all that makes you just want to kick back.

Gentleman Professional is every bit as suave as his name suggests, Hailing from San Francisco, the track Cocktails is perfect music for… err… cocktails. It has a sophisticated tropical house sunset smoochiness. The inclusion of a sax line makes it teeter on the edge of parody but the sincerity of the track wins over. Totally tropical taste.
