It’s not often I post progressive house. I was a big fan back in the mist of time and when Guerilla were the thing. But it became too big room and predictable. But JP Lantieri’s rmeixes are usually a safe space. And so it proves on his remix of Kamilo Sanclemente’s Enchanted Forest.

The tune is a big room rush of emotion and endorphin. There’s even a touch of ethereal female vocal. But the remix focuses on the need for clear beat structures and that stops the synths breaking free of earthly constraints. It also allows a touch of tehcno’s darkness to just take the edge off the burnished sheen. Fine, fine melodic techno.
