Individualist are a deep house duo that draw influencces from around the world. Based in Germany, they are Wayne from South Africa and Rob from Canada. The track Bottom of the Moon came out a while back but plays with deep house tropes. All too often deep house is built around lush positivity. Bottom of the Moon plays with that by giving it a deep and dark bass line that undercuts the positive synths and leaves the whole thing downbeat, melancholic and curiously resentful. Good stuff.
