Deep house duo: Chillestix and Dany Sativa #deephouse #chill #electronic
It’s a public holiday here in the UK. So I’m not up for anything too aggressive this morning. THat’s why you’ve got a couple of relatively chilled deep house tunes from Chillestix and Dany Sativa.
Germany’s Chillestix offers Possibilities. A lovely chilled deep house tune in part. The other part is an aggressive peak that falls back cleverly against a robot vocal that offers “The sky is the most common used term for infinite possibilities. Take your seat and fasten your seatbelt cos we’re going on a crazy journey to our dreams. Are you fucking ready? Let’s do it.” There’s something rather fun about that and a peak that returns to a more chilled deep bass place. This has constantly shifting textures but with an underlying depth that really engages. Clver, clever, clever.
Next, Dany Sativa from Austria who offers the more cosmic Mundo Unico (Van Pain Remix). This uses some classic trance swooshes and chords to set an expansive chilled mood on a track about our planet. Underlying this softness is a progressive / deep house sense of beats that stops it getting too self-indulgent. The beats are warm and this is all very classy Ibiza sounding.
