Techno Friday with JP Lantieri and Human Movement #techo #house #electronic #newmusic

It may be a Friday but that’s no reason not to have some techno with a couple of new releases from JP LAntieri and Human Movement.

JP Lantieri is a regular visitor to this blog with his French take on techno. As with recent releases this one is again focused on his love of wine and specifically Malbec. Malbec is a purple grape variety used in making red wine. The grapes tend to have an inky dark colour and robust tannins, and are known as one of the six grapes allowed in the blend of red Bordeaux wine. Tends to be quite fruity and a bit smoky. There’s plenty of that on Malbec (Original Mix). This is powerful dance floor focused track that never forgets the need for melody. It’s a track that skirts the borders of techno and progressive house. Beats pump away with that techno-ish edge while synths swirl and dazzle your eyes.

Next, Australian duo Human Movement, who return after only a month. This is techno but taken to the acid edges on Dancing Room (On Acid). It’s a minimal, restrained take on techno. Notwithstanding the overall restraint it still manages to surreptitiously scale some classy peaks with the acid stabs adding extra lysergic fun. For more leftfield dance floors. Take a listen to the use of the doorbell and let them into your life.
