A couple of new house tracks for you today from Standwerth, and Erik Schievenin with Adam Helder.

Standwerth is new here and is a Swedish house artist. The track is Jungliana. It’s as much future house as it is anything. It doesn’t feel very constrained by usual house parameters. It manages to be be deep with chilled echoed ripples of sound alongside more intense moments. The elements should jar. They don’t. Gives a slightly psychedelic garage appeal. Clever stuff young man.

Adam Helder returns with Erik Scievenin and Cooper. Adam’s name associated with stuff is usually a mark of quality. And that’s the case here. This has solid dance floor friendly beats annd a peak that keeps coming at you with an almost acid intensity. But it’s ultimately a big fat progressive house tune of the finest kind. Proper dance floor stuff but constructed with care and attention in the journey (sorry about that word) the track takes you on. You ever tried barrel rolling? Harder than it looks. And so’s Cooper. Obviously.
