Drum and Bass Double wiith: Dvnt, and FarFlow & Duskee #electronic #NewMusic #dnb

A couple of drum and bass tracks from Dvnt, and FarFlow & Duskee.

Dvnt is from Phoenix, Arizona. And the track is Hurt. Sadly, not a cover of the Johnny Cash cover of Depeche Mode. But a liquid drum and bass track with more than a usual nod to IDM. This gives it a light footed genre-crossing appeal. The beats have the requisite drum and bass skitter. But the synths are off doing their own thing in outer space. Ultimately, this has the bass and the confidence too hold those disparate elements together brilliantly. Tough track but you’re worth it.

Next FarFlow and Duskee, a joint Belgian/UK combo with their debut UK release. A track from the Soul Drifts EP with Rolling On. FarFlow gets the beats to have a high end two step feel and lots of trebly surround with a bit of delicate piano chords for that melancholic vibe. The vocal is from MC Duskee with that London twang. Talks of duvets and Clapham. But with ambition to grow up and elevate. A proper urban hymn. Tonight Matthew, I want this to be a big track.
