Time for Techno with: Lanky Lgs, and Hybrasil #Techno #Electronic #NewMusic

A couple of blasting techno tracks this morning from Lanky Lgs and Hybrasil.

Lanky Lgs is from Stockholm, Sweden but there’s none of the usual quirky Scandie house charms here. Resist is a straight up, powerful techno track. There’s a big splash of acid that gives the track a swirling head-messing impact. Unusual for me, but I’ve got to admit that this is a proper banger. Uncomplicated, muscular techno. Aims for the dance floor. Never in doubt it will hit its mark.

Hybrasil is next up. Nothing to do with Brazil as far as I can see. This is Berlin by way of Ireland. And it’s Berlin that comes through on Lemuria. THe name is from a mythical lost land. And you can easily get yourself lost here. This is a hefty techno track but with a stabbing synth centre that has more than a little dub techno feel about it. Rolling machine music that revels in being alive. A dance floor favourite, and you can understand why Hybrasil says, “some nice plays at big events over the summer, most notably by Joseph Capriati at Awakenings Festival in Netherlands.” A big track for the wee small hours.
