Everyday jealousies with: Luedenscheidt – Jealous #Techno #Queer

Let’s have some straightforward techno to pre-Friday from Luedenscheidt. He hails from Freiburg in Germany. This post also marks the first same sex marriage in Northern Ireland. The track is Jealous from the Church EP and very much has politics at the forefront. The track does pretty much what it promises. It’s a powerful electro techno track that writhes with unrequited and barely restrained passion. It all builds to a slightly acid flavoured peak at 3:30. As the sample explains, “Everyday I see young straight couples walking through the park and they are casually holding hands. And I am jealous. I am jealous of that because gay people do not get to hold hands in public without first considering the risk.” The track takes a turn for the ominous before breaking free in a barrage of electro synth frenzy. EP available for EUR3 on Bandcamp.
