A superb piece of techno that takes in the sights and sounds of Chicago and Berlin. RESET from Darin Epsilon & Galestian.

Darin Epsilon is a music producer, DJ, radio personality, record label owner, and music critic from Chicago. He has lived in Berlin since 2017. Galestian lives between LA and Berlin. He’s an electronic music artist, producer, DJ, and radio personality – primarily known for deep house, progressive house, melodic house, and techno.

Of RESET they say, “Our track was written in 2020 as a call for all of us to hit the RESET button in light of the world’s political turmoil, environmental disasters, and anxiety surrounding the pandemic.” Curiously, there’s no real sense of panic or disaster. This is techno futurism at its positive best. A welcome blend of Berlin cool with a bit of Chicago heat. There’s a progressive house warmth here that leavens the otherwise cold techno. It’s a scintillating mix that offers pulsating stabs and throbs through the track that seems almost endlessly on a gradual build to an eternal peak.
