Throbbing techno from: Comcast – On Deaf Ears #Techno #House
A bit more groove from this morning’s offering. It’s a techno house track from Comcast.
Comcast is Charlie Thomas from Birmingham, United Kingdom. His work blends Techno’s machine made directness with some more analogue House warmth. It’s a beguiling mix. His biog says that, “he produces music for raving at home and on the sweaty dance floor, somewhere he’s keen to return as soon as possible.”
On Deaf Ears is perfect for kitchen discos and dark dance floors. Taken from his new Sleep EP this is 90s analogue techno sounds from the rave piano stabs tethered to a restless House beat and lots of hi hats. There isn’t the techno preference for beats marching you along through the use of pounding bass. This is more loose limbed than that. It uses House’s sinuous grooves to inveigle you onto the dance floor with a lovely set of breaks for that peak(ing) experience. And in so doing puts a massive grin on your face. No deaf ears here.
