Say yes to lightly epic drum and bass with: Very Ye – Childlike Wonder #DnB #DrumAndBass #Electronic #Downtempo

Today is the 12th of July the time for bonfires and parades in Northern Ireland. If that’s your thing or even if it’s not your thing, take a moment to catch some uplifting drum and bass from Very Yes.

Very Yes is from the US but I know no more. He only offers, “Just a dude, playing a dude, disguised as another dude.” This has a simplicity that’s making my head hurt.

The tune on the other hand is the ultra-accessible and uplifting Childlike Wonder. It opens with light and skippy beats before adding the delicious dark taste of some sub-bass. Synths spiral around above and it’s all terribly enticing.

Very Yes says of it, “I began with the idea of making a song from start to finish without thinking of what anyone would think, only whether or not I liked it in the moment.” And it does have that live life to the full and in the moment quality. There’s boundless optimism as the beats and bass bounce around. Snyths have more upliftingness than an Insta influencer.

Me, I’m adopting the warrior pose and putting this on repeat.
