Ambient short from Sub Sequence – Hidden Well #Ambient #Beatless #Drone #Liquid

Just the one track this Ambient Sunday. And at only 91 seconds I’m breaching my usual nothing less than two minutes rule. But this track from Sub Sequence is so lovely I simply couldn’t resist.

Sub Sequence (Michael Brill Hung) is from Erlangen, Bayern, Germany. He says he is “fascinated with and digging thoroughly into the deep end of electronic music for over 35 years, DJing and producing various Electronica since the early 90s.” That may be why there’s such a reminder of Global Communications and Biosphere here.

The featured track is Hidden Well the closing track to Sub Sequence’s Dune Drop EP. Hidden Well is a beatless beauty that ripples and burbles along in a classic liquid fashion. In many ways it has a sense of being a track on 76:14 – it’s that good at generating a calming rich atmosphere is so little time. There’s a little melody but quite subtle and not disturbing the mirror-like liquid surface of the tune.

Ambient to paddle into and feel the thrill of chill.
