Saturday techno with: Gasphonic – Nege

Some techno for your Saturday night from Gasphonic. But with essence of melodic techno and tech house.

Gasphonic returns to these parts after a debut towards the end of last year. But I know no more than that they hail from Italy. So, on to the music.

The featured track is Nege. And I’ve no idea what that means either. Perhaps an idiot or to move rapidly. Moving rapidly on to the track for fear of looking stupid.

Nege is a confident main room floor filler but with enough cussedness to make things interesting. The beats are full and immediate. The synths are quite far into melodic techno but with enough pump on them to make this suitable for peak time.

There’s almost a tech house blankness to the beats but enough synth gilding to show off twirls and sparkles. This track is made for a dance floor full of dry ice and not a dry eye in the house. A track that delivers dark joy wherever it goes.
