SLIGHTER – Our Own End

After a couple of track from his Visitor Seven ambient alter ego, breaks act Slighter is back with one of his best tracks yet. And it’s for free download.

Colin C’s work as Slighter is usually quite full on breaks, often with an industrial edge. Not this time. I dunno what’s going on. But damn it, this is a romantic track. A collaboration with Rachel Desilets that uses her spoken words to enhance things. The need to hear the words forces the music to restrain itself and the beats to behave. Everything’s that bit softer, slightly soft focussed and dreamy. This is a big lovelorn sigh set to music.

Blurb: “Our Own End” is a new collaboration with author Rachel Desilets providing her words and voice to the song. Something more melodic and sweeter than the regular fare 🙂 You can get a high quality digital copy of this for FREE over at Bandcamp, just click the “Buy This Track” button to link to the download page!
