Maribou State

Time for a repeat visit from Maribou State, with some free downloads for you. They all follow their lush yet brittle house template and include a remix for Lana Del Rey.

Let’s start with the Lana Del Rey. This is a remix of Blue Jeans. A lovely song turned into something with a strong Kate Bush feeling.

Another more recent remix is for Post War Years. This brittle little tune – Glasshouses – finds its way drifting towards something quite Burial dubstep. Lovely.

And finally, one of their own tracks. This takes the brittle dubstep of the Post War Years remix and adds a little steel drum and digital R&B into the ambient mix.
