SPC ECO – Push (Get It All Remix)

spceco

Here’s a free download from Dean Garcia’s new venture SPC ECO. Some might remember Dean’s work in Curve with Toni Halliday. This time his daughter is on vocals – and she doesn’t half sound like Toni. The is classic goth dance, full of cracking gloominess and bass. Pass me a pint of snakebite someone.

Blurb: SPC ECO (pronounced SPACE ECHO) are Rose Berlin, voice and words and Dean Garcia, bass, drums, guitars, studio engineer and producer. Rose is currently studying for a BA in sculpture and Dean (previously of the seminal 90′s band Curve and Eurythmics bassist) is a multi instrumentalist and maverick record producer. Rose is also Dean’s daughter, and they have been writing and recording songs from as soon as Rose was able to make a sound. The chemistry between them is undeniable. SPC ECO have produced and recorded a succession of albums and EPs since 2008. Their latest release Push (EP) shines and weaves its magic just as all of the previous releases have. The mesmeric glow of SPC ECO is unmistakable. Widely acclaimed, picking up regular radio plays and described by God Is In The TV as “A bliss kissing dreamscape dinked in noir skinned slow seduction”, by Breaking More Waves as “Somewhere between Depeche Mode and Garbage with a horror show darkness that makes us shudder with delight” and awarded Track of the Day by The VPME, Push is taking SPC ECO to a whole new audience. SPC ECO also like to collaborate closely with various guests on their recordings, The Push EP is no exception and features Jarek Leskiewicz on Talk Him Down and Escape From Earth. Jarek provides otherworldly guitar drones and melodic textures that compliment the SPC ECO sound perfectly. Slade Templeton chips in with a brilliant alternative bass heavy mix of Push as it kicks into track 3 of the EP with the Lady Barcelona Remix.
