Takuya Kashiwada: Wear The God, Execute It Remixes EP Pt. 1 (Red EP)

redep1

Japanese artist Takuya Kashiwada’s album Wear The God, Execute It gets remixed. A couple selected from those for your listening pleasure. Both are 3am tracks, so expect techno. Out on 1 May.

First, Syphon (Parity Records’ owner) takes a turn. His remix is one of those tracks that gradually winds itself up in a clattering that eventually allows the rolling beats through. But it’s going to make you wait for the break until you beg. Relief doesn’t comes until way after 2 mins when the chiming synth comes in. Clever mix.

JAK provides a much more serious=faced remix, despite the sampled laughter. This is metronomic beats that ride along in a tech house way until the bass thrubbs its way into your cold soul. A very different approach to Syphon but equally effective.

Blurb:

Parity returns to the well-received album Wear The God, Execute It by Japanese artist Takuya Kashiwada with a two-part set of remixes. The diversity of remixers makes each track unique, spanning a wide range of genres. Part. 1, also known as the Red EP, draws together relative newcomers like Smight and Hydradon with more established artists such as Komut, JAK, and Parity owner Syphon.
Vortex of the Justice and Insanity (JAK Remix) – SubSensory label boss JAK drops some serious bass line tech house for a mean, low, and rumbling juggernaut of remix.

All Wordless Relations (Syphon Remix) –
Parity label owner presents his slightly psychedelic sound on a wild ride remix that gets extremely compelling once the bass line drops.
