Sunday* Deep House with: Laydee V – Blissful Moments #House #DeepHouse * albeit it’s allegedly Thursday at the time of writing.

In this week of endless Sundays, endless grey skies and intermittent rain here’s Laydee V with some warming deep house to give us some summer cheer to look forward to.

Laydee V (Veronika Esslerova) returns after a gap of almost a year. It’s another release on her own label Platform 7even.

Blissful Moments sits somewhere between House and Deep House, though if pushed would owe more to deep house. This has a low-key but not quite chilled approach. Synth refrains roll around in a lightly dubby way among tom-toms. It’s all quite tropical without ever slipping into those motifs. The House edge (almost dub techno in places) stops the track from becoming too woozy and unfocused.

This is a purposeful groove to keep you warm and get you through the winter.
